To Quality
Cranswick’s feed mills are rightly subject to many
rigorous external control procedures such as Local Authority,
Trading Standards and The Royal Pharmaceutical Society
of Great Britain. In addition, Cranswick Mill is a member
of the United Kingdom’s AIC Universal Feed Assurance
Scheme and the German Q + S scheme, to ensure
best practice for the manufacture of safe compound feeds.
HACCP controls are integral to the whole of our processes,
from concept to completion, and ensures that the essence
of quality lies at the heart of everything we do.
No more clearly is this demonstrated than in the very
obvious demarcation we achieve in the manufacture of our
specialist young animal diets, which are produced in a
totally separate, stand alone production plant.
Knowledge of raw material quality, an understanding of
the impact of mill processes on the raw materials selected
and accurate blending of these feed materials, is absolutely
critical in the construction of diets for all classes
of livestock, but especially so for young stock, such
as newly weaned piglets or day old chicks. As a recognised
industry leader in the manufacture of such specialist
feeds, we have gained significant experience and, we believe,
a knowledge base second to none, to ensure that only the
very best materials are used in all of our feeds.
Consumer confidence is critical to the continued success
