Manufactured in a state of the art production facility,
designed specifically for handling high quality and sensitive
milk powders, Cranswick’s pre-starter and starter
diets are formulated with the primary objective of allowing
the piglet a trouble free transition from liquid milk
to solid feed. With an extensive product range available,
ranging from pre-starter feeds through to second stage
link diets, we are confident that we have a feed solution
to meet all the diverse requirements found on farm today.
With careful raw material sourcing, selection and monitoring
critical to successful piglet feed manufacture, considerable
effort is focussed on ensuring that only products of the
highest digestibility are used in the production of the
Cranswick range of speciality piglet diets. To this end,
suitable raw materials are sourced throughout Europe and
beyond and production conducted in a totally separate
plant, to ensure that no contamination with unsuitable
raw materials can occur.
In addition to compound piglet feeds, Cranswick also manufactures
and exports a range of milk based concentrates and premixes,
either for supply direct to farm or for use through 3rd
party (customer) feed mills, wishing to utilise a locally
available raw material supply. As part of this aspect
of Cranswick’s export activities, technical support
agreements (encompassing formulation work / on-farm support
/ quality control systems etc) are in place with a number
of customers wishing to utilise some of the company’s
experience and expertise.
